		(Go west on I-90. Take exit 85. Turn right, then left on Hwy 903 into town. Bakery is on the right side. Sandwich shop is right next to it on the side street.)

10:45 a.m.	Depart:	Cle Elum
		(Continue right in Cle Elum. It will go right into I-90. Safeway gas on the left if you need it. In Seattle take exit 10 north on I-405. It will enter I-5 north. At Burlington take exit 230 west on Hwy 20. Stay on Hwy 20 following signs to Anacortes ferry.)

2:50 p.m.	Do:	Ancortes to Sidney Ferry $20.25 car & driver/$70.65 passenger (Make a reservation)
5:00 p.m.	Arrive:	Sydney
		(Go straight off the ferry on Hwy 17. Watch for Butchart Garden signs. You will turn right just before McDonalds on Mt Newton Cross Rd. Turn left on Wallace Dr. Turn right on Benvenuto Ave.)
	See:	Butchart Gardens (8:45 a.m.-10 p.m.) $33.80 (Buy online)

		(Go out of the gardens on Benvenuto. Turn right on Wallace Dr/Hwy 17A. Turn right on Pacific Bay Hwy.)

		(Turn right on TC1. Take the 1st right on Belleville St. On the right side of Thunderbird Park.)
		Helmcken House Pioneer Doctor's Residence 1852- Free (12-4) Museum in Victoria, British Columbia, located in Thunderbird Park. It was built by Dr. John Sebastian Helmcken, the first doctor in Victoria, in 1852, a surgeon with the Hudson's Bay Company. It is one of the oldest houses in British Columbia.
		(Take a car and continue right on Belleville St. Go left on Hwy 17. In half a mile go right on Ford St. Turn right on Joan Crescent into Craigdarroch Rd. On the left.)
		Craigdarroch Castle $14.60 (9-7) Built between 1887 and 1890 on a hill overlooking the City of Victoria, announced to the world that Robert Dunsmuir was the richest and most important man in Western Canada.

		(Go straight off the ferry onto Hwy 20. Turn right on D Ave. Go left at the roundabout on 32nd. Go right on Commerical Ave. At the roundabout go left on Hwy 20. When you get to Burlington, go right into I-5. At exit 182 go into I-405 south. At exit 11 go east on I-90.)
